Hi, I’m Brooke Chalmers, I’m excited to have the opportunity to attend Lutheran Summer Music (LSM) again this summer! I’ve been playing the French horn since 5th grade, and music has become one of the most important parts of my life.

Participating in the Western International Band Clinic and the All-Northwest Wind Symphony have inspired me to attend LSM where I will be playing in ensembles, taking lessons and immersing myself in music for four weeks!

Beyond music, I love reading, traveling, and spending time with my young cousins. I am active in my school as a member of CHS leadership, on the state Knowledge Bowl Team, tennis team, color guard, and a member of the Technology Student Association (TSA). I enjoy spending time with my Celebration Lutheran Church youth group and attend the Camas Meadows Bible Camp every year. Your support would help make this incredible opportunity possible — thank you so much for supporting my musical journey!

Note from LSM: Brooke is eligible to receive up to $500 from LSM as a 50% match to funds raised. In other words, if she raises $1,000, she'll be eligible for the full match. Any funds raised beyond that will help to further defray costs for Brooke's family. To contribute towards Brooke's tuition, you can give two ways:

Lutheran Summer Music Academy & Festival (LSM) is the nation’s premier faith-based music academy for high school students. In addition to advanced musical instruction and numerous performance opportunities, LSM students form an intentional community, living together for four weeks on a Lutheran college campus. Since 1981, this unique and immersive program has guided the lives of young musicians who credit LSM as the starting place for their future careers and vocations.
