Support the restoration and renewal of Brookside Farm Museum.
Your gift to our Annual Appeal helps preserve this historic 1845 farmhouse while creating a more welcoming, engaging space for our entire community.
Your contribution supports:
• Re-curating the interior museum spaces to become both an exhibit venue and a community gathering space for talks, programs, and small events.
• Launching our new exhibit: Untold History: Amos Congdon & Abolitionism in Southeastern Connecticut—sharing two powerful stories from the property that have never been told.
• Restoring the back woods ecology, removing invasives, planting natives, and opening the area for public learning and enjoyment.
• Free and low-cost public programming for families, students, neighbors, and visitors.
• Ongoing preservation of the house and grounds, ensuring the site remains safe, accessible, and historically authentic.
A donation in any amount makes a big difference.
Naming Opportunities:
Gifts of $1,000 or more will receive a special naming opportunity through 2026—a restored native tree in the back woods will be dedicated in your honor, with a permanent marker that includes your name and the tree species.
Gifts of $500 or more may make you a sponsor of a concert in the concert series of 2026.
