Because of community partners like you, our doors have remained open for survivors when they needed us most.

Your past support has helped provide safe shelter, advocacy, hope, and healing for individuals and families escaping domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and other violent crimes. You have been part of creating a community where survivors are believed, supported, and empowered to rebuild their lives. For that, we are deeply grateful.

As we prepare for another year of serving our community, we're excited to bring back something we've missed.

After a six-year hiatus, Emergency Support Shelter is proud to reintroduce our annual fundraising event, reimagined as the Open Doors Brunch: A Community United for Hope and Healing. This special morning will celebrate the resilience of survivors, recognize our Advocate of the Year, and bring our community together to ensure our doors remain open for everyone who needs them. It will be held on Saturday October 10, 2026 at 9am at the Cowlitz County Expo Center.

Last year alone, Emergency Support Shelter served 1,693 individuals throughout Cowlitz County and provided 5,532 nights of safe shelter for adults and children escaping violence. Those numbers represent lives changed because caring community members like you chose to stand with us.
