Each year the Scouts from Troop 278 in Superior and Troop 575 in Louisville/Lafayette assist our community by picking up used Christmas Trees for safe and responsible recycling. In 2022 our two Troops worked hard to collect over 700 trees and we want to break that record this year!

The girls and boys of Troops 278 and 575 are grateful for the opportunity to reduce greenhouse gases and landfill use through this service project. All the Scouts and families volunteer their time to help with this important activity. We ask that you provide a donation of $10 to $20 to help support our Scouts with the costs of camps and activities all year long. Donations of any amount are appreciated!

To request a pick up of your Christmas tree (or just make a donation) please click the "Schedule Pickup" button above and a crew of our Scouts will stop by on Saturday January 7th, 2023.

Interested in Scouting for your daughter or son? Scouts BSA welcomes youth ages 11 to 18 and teaches citizenship, leadership, outdoor ethics, and responsibility. Cub Scouts welcome both girl and boy youths K-5. Note: Trees must be outside your home and free of decorations, lights and any non-organic materials by 7:30am on Saturday January 7th, 2023.
