In October 2024, I will be running my first marathon ever-- the Chicago Marathon!! I decided I would run in honor of a charity whose mission aligns with my personal values. If you know me, you know I am very passionate about the education of future generations, with an emphasis in STEM education. Most of the time I spend volunteering has always been focused on providing guidance in education, whether that be tutoring elementary school students in after-school programs, helping college students with their technical and soft skills, or just spending nights helping my siblings with their homework. Needless to say, running for Big Shoulders is an honor, as I believe it takes big shoulders to provide quality education to raise future generations!
