Gift the Joy of Christmas

As the year comes to a close, we are reminded of the incredible power of community and compassion. At By the Dawn's Early Light (BTDEL), a volunteer-run nonprofit, we have the privilege of providing crucial support to foster children affected by addiction. Your generosity has been the driving force behind our work, and we’re reaching out to ask for your continued support as we enter the holiday season.

This year, our Give the Gift of Joy at Christmas program is especially close to our hearts. The holiday season can be a challenging time for foster children who are navigating loss and uncertainty. Through this program, we aim to provide Christmas gifts, personalized care packages, and holiday cheer to as many foster children as possible, ensuring they experience the joy and warmth of the season despite their circumstances.  Currently, there are 16,000 + children in the Ohio Foster Care System – Many children get adopted out into a wonderful family, but what about those children who don’t have a family at Christmas?

We cannot do this alone. As we prepare to brighten the holidays for these children, we are seeking monetary donations to help us meet our goal. Your contribution will make a direct impact, whether it’s providing a toy, a warm coat, or a much-needed sense of belonging and hope for a child who needs it most.

Because BTDEL is entirely volunteer-run, every dollar donated goes directly to supporting our programs and the children we serve.
