Nevada PAW Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit for veterinary professionals in Nevada. Established in 2024.

Our initiatives span from raising awareness of suicide in the veterinary field, promoting preventive suicide measures, enlisting community engagement, and crisis support for all veterinary professionals. If you work in the veterinary field, no matter your position, we are here for you.

Nevada PAW Society was founded by three veterinary professionals in Nevada. We want to help not just the veterinarians, but all who work in this profession. We all feel the compassion fatigue and stress at one point in our careers. We want to be a resource to help those who get to this point, but aren’t quite sure what to do about it. Most veterinary professionals can’t imagine doing anything else in this life. They are animal caregivers and will always be animal caregivers. It’s our goal to help them regain that love for themselves and for their careers.

Our mission is to address the prevalent mental strain and fatigue experienced by veterinary professionals. We are committed to advancing mental wellness and fostering a healthy work-life balance among veterinary professionals.
