End of Year Foundation Campaign

As we come to the close of the year, we’re pausing to reflect with gratitude on what generosity can make possible. Thanks to last year’s foundation campaign, we were able to send two remarkable writers—Lisa Finn and Naz Pankey—to the Her Spirit writing retreat in Santa Cruz this past August. For both writers, the experience offered time, space, and encouragement to deepen their voices and reconnect with the work that matters most to them.

As we look ahead to the new year, we’re hoping to extend that same opportunity to others. Writing retreats and creative education can be truly life-changing, yet they remain out of reach for many talented writers. Our goal is simple: to help launch the next group of scholarship recipients by easing the financial barriers that stand between them and their creative growth.

We’re also grateful to share that in the final quarter of 2025, our foundation received its IRS non-profit determination. Donations are now tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law, allowing supporters to give with both heart and confidence.
