A Community Endeavor by Buena Vista Lions Club

In the heart of the quaint town of Gotham lies the Buena Vista Bicentennial Park, a place that holds immense potential for community gatherings, recreation, and celebration. However, over time, the park has seen wear and tear, with outdated facilities and unsafe playground equipment. Recognizing the need for change, the Buena Vista Lions Club has taken up the noble mission of revamping the park and transforming it into a haven for families and friends.

A Vision for Change

The primary goal of the Buena Vista Lions Club is to breathe new life into the Buena Vista Bicentennial Park. Through collaboration with the Buena Vista Township, the Lions Club has secured a lease agreement, paving the way for transformative improvements. Members of the Lions Club have wasted no time and have already started the process of fixing buildings and addressing immediate issues within the park.

Funding the Future

However, the success of this endeavor relies heavily on the support of the community. As the Lions Club members work diligently to bring about positive changes, the need for funds to purchase materials becomes increasingly apparent. The biggest and most ambitious project on the horizon is the acquisition of a new playground, estimated to cost $25,500. The removal of the old, unsafe equipment was a necessary step to ensure the safety of the children in the community.
