Urgent: Lakeside Renovation Needs Your Help by June 30th

Your gift will transform the lives of students.

BUF’s Graceville campus will fill to capacity this upcoming fall, and a dorm that suffered significant damage due to Hurricane Michael needs renovation. Lakeside Hall has 24 dorm rooms and will serve 48 students, but it requires critical repairs. These repairs include new bathroom cabinetry, fixtures, sheetrock, and painting. The cost to renovate each room is $9,000.

To complete this important project before students arrive this fall, work began in May, with funding commitments needed by June 30th. BUF's Office of Development is now seeking both donations and pledges to meet this critical deadline. Renovations cannot be completed without the generous support of those who believe in BUF's mission. 

During this time of unprecedented growth, BUF must use its financial reserve for the operating budget. Would you or your church be willing to adopt a room, as some upfront costs are required to begin renovations? Your next pastor may just be living in this dorm!

Air Conditioning - $1,200

Cabinetry and Plumbing for Bathroom - $2,500

Fixtures - $750

Paint - $1,800

Fire Alarm System  - $625

Tear out, electrical, prep work, rubber base, and other materials $2,125

Total Room - $9,000
