Every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to sleep, but too many in our community are going without.

In partnership with our local School Districts, United Way of Northern Cameron County, identifies families facing real, everyday challenges, including children who don’t have a bed of their own. Build A Bed was created to meet this need in a simple but powerful way.

With the help of Matt's Building Supply, TSTC, volunteers and donors, we build and donate fully furnished twin beds (complete with a mattress, bedding, and pillows) to children in need. More than just a piece of furniture, a bed provides comfort, stability, and the foundation for better health and success in school.

Just $250 provides one child with a brand-new bed.
