Rooted in Resilience - BUP Community Hub & Thrift

We are creating a Community Hub in South St. Petersburg, a space designed to serve residents every day and stand strong as a resource center during natural disasters. From providing emergency supplies to offering vital connections in times of crisis, this hub will be a cornerstone of resilience for our coastal community.

Alongside the hub, the space will also house our mission-driven thrift store. The store will provide affordable goods for local families while generating support for our five program areas: community outreach & education, research, natural disaster support, veteran services, and policy advocacy.

To make this possible, we need your support. The building requires a full interior buildout, flooring, shelving, and essential equipment, to transform it into a vibrant, fully functioning resource for the community.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to opening the doors of a place where sustainability, resilience, and opportunity come together for South St. Pete.
