Lucky #14! 

My dad's favorite number was 14. 

My dad, also known as Carl and Grumpy, centered his gambling bets around that number, he used it for every password, alarm code, in his personal phone number and even monogrammed it on his shirts. 

This is BvB's 14th season and the little engine that could is now the little engine that WOULD.  Since our inception we have raised $5.2 Million for Alzheimer's research and programs in North Texas.   

Sadly my dad succumbed to Alzheimer's disease in 2018 and my mom, Pat is now suffering from Dementia. This disease robs our loved ones of the life they knew and the loving relationships they dedicated their lives building. 

Let's bring it home for Lucky #14!  No donation is too small or too big 😊. The BvB Powderpuff Game is this Saturday August 7th at 7:30 at the Cotton Bowl, where Two Teams will make ONE DREAM to beat Alzheimer’s. Tickets to the game are $25 or a donation to the cause is greatly appreciated. 

I'm proud to be a part of this organization and lucky to have parents that I'll never give up fighting for.
