I come from a family of matriarchs, both of my grandmothers were boss babes. Both of them suffered through dementia in the last years of their life. Seeing these amazing women rapidly deteriorate was heartbreaking and at times, unbearable. I will never forget my last moments with both of them and if there was anything I could have done to help them, I would have. So that's why I'm a part of this organization.
