Growing up seeing my paternal grandmother care for her siblings with dementia, later having to be cared for herself, exposed me early in youth to this diseaes. Now as the primary caregiver for my dad who has dementia has encouraged me to continue to devote resources and time to finding a cure. BVB Dallas is an organization I was recently made aware of and after reviewing their mission, their goals and meeting with several participants in the league, I'M SOLD. As my family continues the journey in research and education of dementia, Alzheimers and other mental illnesses, I'd like to support BVB Dallas in their efforts.
