I am excited to announce, this will be my third year with BvB Dallas raising money/awareness and volunteering for those affected by Alzheimer's and Dementia. I have a goal to raise $3000 by August in memory of my grandfather, grandmother, and all others who have been affected by Alzheimer's or Dementia.
This cause is near and dear to my heart. My family has unfortunately twice now seen how Alzheimer's and dementia can affect a loved one. My father's mother was diagnosed with dementia, and my mother's father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It was incredibly hard watching them both forget their family, and friends, and how to do basic tasks. They both were so frustrated and confused because no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't fight what was happening to their mind. I play because I look forward to a day when no other individuals or families have to suffer due to these diseases! Please help me fight to end Alzheimer's and dementia forever!
