Second Wind Relief Effort

While the visible scars of the tornado remain — damaged homes, scattered debris, ongoing cleanup — there’s another kind of loss that’s harder to see. Many in our community didn’t lose their homes, but they lost something just as vital: their jobs.

Local businesses are shuttered. Paychecks have stopped. And for many, federal assistance is still weeks — if not months — away.

That’s where Second Wind Relief Effort comes in. This new initiative by PEAK is focused on helping those who lost their income due to the storm. Until businesses reopen or new jobs are found, we’re stepping in to help provide temporary financial relief, a second wind, to get them through.

We are currently accepting donations — 100% of which go directly to those who lost their jobs due to the tornado. Every dollar makes a difference.
