Publishing Vahan Tekeyan's Collected Works

Between 2022 and 2023, the first and second volumes of the set of articles authored by Vahan Tekeyan and compiled by Associate Professor Varduhi Davtyan, Ph.D., were published in Yerevan. The volumes are in the Armenian language.

In the first volume of that publication, articles and editorials by Tekeyan of the period between 1901 and 1910 are brought together (550 pages), and in the second volume, the publications of 1911-1920 are presented (719 pages).

Vahan Tekeyan is known to the general public as an outstanding poet of Western Armenian literature. Due to the above-mentioned multi-volume work, it becomes obvious that Tekeyan is also the greatest Western Armenian writer on sociopolitical issues and political analyst of the 20th century.

In order to complete the presentation of Vahan Tekeyan’s entire legacy, it will be necessary to publish four more volumes. Work in that direction is currently in progress.

The first and second volumes of this series were published due to the funds provided by the Tekeyan Center Foundation of Yerevan. In order to continue this work, the Tekeyan Cultural Associatino of Armenia has decided to create a fund for that purpose.

We offer you the possibillity to support this project by donating $200 (US dollars), and in return, you will receive the first and second volumes. This particular amount will be redistributed in the following way: the author of the book will receive an honorarium payment of $50 (USD), $65 (USD) will cover the delivery, and $85 (USD) will go to the foundation for the publication of the third and fourth volumes. The participants of the initiative will receive the third volume for free (except for the shipping costs).

By participating in the publication of Vahan Tekeyan’s nonfiction analytical works you are investing in preserving and disseminating Armenian national values.
