Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve reached our initial goal of the Bette & Wylie Aitken $50,000 Endowment Challenge!

Because of the overwhelming support for this campaign, and to honor Bette Aitken’s unwavering commitment to Chance Theater and her lifelong passion for the arts—the Aitkens have increased their challenge by another $50,000.

We are now launching the Aitken $100,000 Endowment Challenge to continue building the Chance General Endowment Fund, a vital step in securing our theater’s long-term future.

Bette Aitken's transformative impact began in 2013 when she discovered our intimate 70-seat venue on La Palma Avenue. Her belief in our mission helped us grow into the state-of-the-art Bette Aitken Theater Arts Center, a space dedicated to creativity, connection, and community.
Her legacy continues to inspire every artist, audience member, and student who walks through our doors.

Production costs & artist fees
Scholarships for students of all ages

Community outreach initiatives
