Fundraiser for Kashechera Bwindi community nursery and primary school
Thank you for your interest to support the Kashechera Bwindi Community Nursery and Primary school, at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda (home to the endangered mountain gorillas). This school provides currently basic education to approximately 200 students of very underprivileged families in this village. Most parents struggle to pay school fees, while school fees are needed to get basic educational materials and pay teacher salaries.
All donations are tax-deductible in the U.S.A., according to standard IRS regulations, as Sahaya International is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Sahaya International uses the Givebutter platform to ensure data security. There are, of course, fees for credit card usage that we bear, and we appreciate any coverage of those fees. Additionally, there is an opportunity to leave a tip for the donation platform, but there is no obligation (you can set that tip to zero). As Sahaya International is 100% volunteer-based, all funds received will be transferred to the school program.
If you prefer to make a donation by check, please make your check payable to "Sahaya International", with note "Kashechera school"; please add a note with your email address so we can e-mail you a tax receipt. Mail your check to:
