The 100 Black Men of Austin invites you to celebrate the young men of our Saturday Leadership Academy (SLA), a program grounded in leadership, academic achievement, life skills, and real-world career exposure.

This is not a typical gala. It is led by the students themselves.

From the moment the evening begins, our mentees take ownership of the experience. They welcome guests, guide the program, and share, in their own voices, how mentorship is shaping their confidence, discipline, and vision for what comes next. What you will see is growth in motion.

It funds consistent mentorship, hands-on leadership development, scholarships, and transformative opportunities such as our Drone Apprenticeship program and college- and career-readiness experiences. Our 2026 focus, Authenticity, is a commitment to helping each young man understand who he is, stand firmly in that identity, and lead with purpose in every room he enters.
