To provide women and their families help, hope and healing to overcome suffering in their cancer journey.

Our Vision

Our vision is to honor the life of Bessie Mathew by continuing to empower and support women facing cancer through various services and tools including financial, educational, health and life resources, care packages, counseling coordination, and tuition assistance.

Our Goal

Our goal with this fundraising gala is to raise $100,000 to continue the work of BMF through the 3 programs that we offer to our beneficiaries.

Our Programs

Care Package Program

Under the HELP pillar of the Bessie Mathew Foundation, we’ve created care packages that contain 11 key items. Each of these items were thoughtfully selected based off of research and after talking to women who have experienced this disease first hand or those that have supported them on their cancer journey. Education Assistance Program

Under the HOPE pillar of the Bessie Mathew Foundation, we believe families should never have to choose between paying for treatment or paying for their education. To that end, we want to ensure that women impacted by cancer are able to pursue their educational goals or that of their family. Counseling Assistance Program

Under the HEAL pillar of the Bessie Mathew Foundation, our goal is to provide counseling for women and their families impacted by cancer, whether it be a recent cancer diagnosis or the loss of a loved one from cancer.
