We are a dedicated non-profit organization committed to providing personalized social, emotional, and academic support to young people from under-resourced communities, starting first grade and continuing through college. We firmly believe that with equal access to essential resources, every child can unlock their full potential and realize their dreams.

Tis the Season! Join us for our annual Dream Big Gala at the Skirball Cultural Center on Sunday, April 19, at 6 PM, kicking off with a delightful cocktail hour.

The Dream Big Gala is our flagship event of the year, crucial for raising the funds necessary to support our comprehensive programs. These include academic assistance, social and emotional development, college and career readiness, one-on-one mentoring, individualized case management, and parent engagement. This event also allows us to honor local leaders who inspire hope and ambition in at-risk youth and their families, showcasing the impactful work IHADLA is doing to break the cycle of poverty through education, empowerment, and opportunity. We will also celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our students from Boyle Heights, Inglewood, Pasadena, Watts and our Alumni from various program sites.
