The Black Mental Health Awards is more than just an event; it’s a movement. This one-of-a-kind evening will spotlight the urgent issue of Black suicide, raise awareness, and fund free and low-cost, culturally responsive mental health resources that are urgently needed in the Black community. We’ll celebrate and honor Black mental health professionals who have dedicated their lives to supporting, healing, and transforming lives. Black People Die By Suicide Too (BPDBST) is a peer-led organization dedicated to normalizing the conversation about suicide in the Black community. BPDBST provides education and resources that instill hope in Black people suffering from mental health conditions. Our vision is to end suicide in the Black community.
