Bailey Theatre Company has brought quality professional theatre to the Bailey area for 6 seasons now. The journey began in 2019 with a few people meeting to discuss the possibility of creating a theatre in Bailey, CO, to improve commerce by having people stop and spend time in the shops, restaurants, and lodging.

We began with our first fundraiser in February of 2020, right before COVID hit. We made it through there and have continued to do 2 shows a year with the generous support of Glen Isle Resort. In 2023, we started adding production elements like lights, set, sound, and costumes. Which turned our staged readings into as full of productions as possible given the limitation of the Glen Isle space.

In 2024, we saw a large uptick in attendance, and the theatre began to be known in the greater Denver area. We were fortunate to receive 2 wonderful reviews from well-known Denver critics, and we were nominated for 5 Broadway World Awards, something a small rural theatre ever sees happen.

2025 is another exciting year with the 2nd installment of the "Tuna" series and a Tony award winning play "Same Time, Next Year." We've also added 2 additional shows to be eligible for the Colorado Theatre Guild's "Hery Awards" for the first time. We look forward to your support as we continue to grow.
