BFF.fm – Best Frequencies Forever is a community radio station, broadcasting online from the heart of San Francisco's Mission District.
BFF.fm is a rare gem. In this era of homogenized commercial radio, where only a handful of corporations own the majority of the airwaves, BFF.fm has paved our own way online. Your support allows us to continue the important work of intentionally uplifting and promoting talented creatives who are not heard often enough due to ongoing barriers to entry onto commercial radio.
Our staff of 115 volunteer DJs are the people you stand next to at shows and ride Muni with. We’re your neighbors. We share the music we love on the radio because that’s what drives us, not algorithms or commercial interests.
We believe in the power of community radio to bring people together. Through the Internet we can be heard anywhere -- in office cubicles, cars, through headphones in the park -- giving people worldwide a chance to discover something new.
