I’ve been part of BFF.fm for five years, which is baffling in 2 ways: how has it been that long AND how has it not been my whole life? Everything changed for me in a massive way when I found this magical community radio station tucked inside an unassuming building on Capp Street.

BFF has been around for 9 years and if you know anything about the stakes of making it in San Francisco - as an individual, a business, and especially as an arts org - you know that’s remarkable.

I’m on my second radio show (Shadowtime if you haven’t heard it yet) and it really fills me up. I’ve been able to give listeners an immersive and eclectic audio experience and showcase incredible audio artists’ work.

Also, in 2020 I helped BFF launch a podcast network which we’re continuing to work on bringing to its full potential as a space for new creators to make stuff and learn as part of a community.

I’m fundraising because I want this valuable space to continue to be there for me, for the diverse group of people who show up every week to make radio, and for you.
