Evening Under the Stars is the Center’s flagship fundraising event. Join us for a fun evening of food and socializing with parents, teachers, and staff. Dinner will be provided by Erehwon and will be served family-style. We are excited to have CCC parent and Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Civil Engineering, Ruby Fu, present "Tracing the fate of water through snow." Ruby and her group at Caltech study the motion of fluids underground and how it shapes our natural and engineered environment. In this talk, she will discuss their recent work on understanding the movement of water through snow, and why it is a key part of projecting climate change impact on Earth water cycle. Additionally, event attendees will have an opportunity to bid on exciting live auction items including classroom quilts and one-of-a-kind experiences. We hope you will join us!
