Cast for Hope is a guided fishing experience on the Potomac River created for Veterans and First Responders carrying the invisible weight of PTSD. Hosted by Symbolisms for Resilience in partnership with Fish the Potomac Charters, this day is about still water, shared experience, and creating space to breathe.

This is not a tournament.
This is not therapy.
It is a moment of calm, purpose, and connection on the water.

For many Veterans and First Responders, healing does not come easily through words. Sometimes it comes through a quiet cast, a steady line, and the understanding that they are not alone. Cast for Hope offers that moment. A full day of guided blue catfish fishing, camaraderie, and symbolic support, including the Coin of Resilience, as a reminder that their story matters and their strength is seen.

Veteran Nominations

15 Veteran spots are available, with notifications sent by April 30, 2026.
