The Barnes family learned that life can take a dramatic and tragic turn in an instance. Their daughter and sister Chasity Barnes was diagnosed with cancer on a Tuesday and died the following Monday. She was only 27-years-old. She was college-educated, driven, and ready to take on the world.

Chasity’s Champions, Inc. was created to continue her legacy. We have honored Chasity’s memory and her commitment to higher education by awarding scholarships to students living in Alabama. Since 2009, we have awarded 30 scholarships.
