I value the work that Domestic Abuse Project does because we are dedicated to protecting and preventing future victims of intimate partner violence. We are the only domestic violence organization in the Twin Cities that provides care for both those who use harm and those who experience harm. Our model is extremely effective-- 90% of the participants who came to us for using harm in their relationships do not use harm again within 1 year. 67% do not use harm again within 5 years. This is a systems change. DAP is providing a sustainable solution to violence reduction in our community.
