Team-based culinary challenge where our donor champions team up with our Gold Apron Society chefs to raise money, friends, and partners for MaxLove Project. The Challenge culminates in the App-Off Finale event at Tanaka Farms on September 16th.
I am so thrilled and grateful to connect with MaxLove Project on my journey in Culinary Medicine. As an endocrinologist, I see the enormous impact food makes on my patients’ health. I love that MaxLove Project embraces the synergy between culinary medicine and conventional treatments. Our team is supporting the Fierce Foods Academy program – a monthly, hands-on cooking class teaching families how to incorporate nutrient-dense foods into their daily diets. Children get the opportunity to harvest ingredients from the garden to cook with in each class. I am hopeful that our next generation will see that food truly is medicine!
