The New-Mexico Ridgenose Rattlesnake, a.k.a. "Obscurus" is a unique and imperiled resident of the Madrean Sky Islands! There is still a lot of conservation work, including genetics, seasonal habitat shifts and other final stepping stones to ensure this animal has a future in the US!
