Both Nonprofit organizations believe in giving back to the community and the future generation in significant ways. The impact these nonprofits have on our local community is endless with your support. Please join us for the online and in-person auction event on August 4, 2024 at Chicken N Pickle in North Kansas City, from 1-4 p.m.

Wild Souls Wildlife Rescue & Rehab

Wild Souls is a wildlife rescue and rehab located in Blue Springs, Missouri. They are a nonprofit that primarily operates on donations and volunteers. Wild Souls cares for injured or orphaned Missouri wildlife, including mammals and birds of prey, and serves Eastern Jackson County and surrounding areas. Wild Souls is also known for their annual event, Shop with a Conservation Agent, where they sponsor 12 children who have experienced hardship with holiday shopping sprees.

Hot Mess Moms KC

Hot Mess Moms KC is a nonprofit located in Independence, Missouri. This organization's mission focuses on offering a hand-up to struggling Moms in a challenging situation. They successfully manage multiple volunteer-led missions annually to help with cleaning and organizational solutions. Hot Mess Moms KC also sponsors children for their annual Holiday Assistance event. In 2021, they sponsored 14 children; in 2022, they sponsored 20 children; in 2023, they sponsored 50 children and wrapped over 300 gifts.
