WHY DO YOU SUPPORT HOUSE OF HEROES?
As a career Army soldier, I have been absolutely captivated by the genuine, humble, and selfless people who serve our country. They sacrifice some of the best years of their lives, precious time with their family, and sometimes their life itself in support of our nation and its interests. Supporting House of Heroes is a truly meaningful way ALL OF US can remind our heroes their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
ARE YOU AUCTIONING IN HONOR OF ANYONE?
Yes. My father, Lieutenant General (Ret) Jerome B. Hilmes. A career soldier of 33 years, with two tours in Vietnam, and a combat engineer, he was my hero and role model. He passed away Sept 11, 2023.
