Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated is an organization of mothers dedicated to raising the next generation of African American leaders while enhancing the lives of all children. We work to accomplish our mission through diverse programs focused on leadership development, cultural exposure, community service, legislative advocacy and philanthropic giving. The South Los Angeles Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. firmly supports the aims and goals of the national organization: to aid mothers in learning more about their children through careful study; to seek for all children the same advantages which we desire for our own, and to support all national legislation aimed at bettering the conditions of all children. We proudly serve as a beacon of service and excellence in our community for over 65 years.

About our nonprofit partner: Harvest Home

Harvest Home works to transform the lives of unhoused pregnant women and their children by providing housing, support, and programs that nurture, equip and empower women to become great mothers. Since 1989, their Venice home has served as a sanctuary on the westside of Los Angeles, providing a safe and nurturing environment for pregnant women and their babies. In 2022, Harvest Home expanded their impact by opening a second home in Pico Robertson, creating a thoughtful two-step program model. After mothers settle into the program at the Venice location, they transition to the Pico Robertson home where they stay 6-8 months postpartum, building the foundation for independent living. From one woman's act of kindness, Harvest Home has grown to serve over 1,000 families across three decades, transforming lives two generations at a time.
