Last year, after being on the wait list for this very local (right in our neighborhood!) music-based after school program for a couple of years, Rowan and Remy both got to join when Kids in Concert decided to wipe out the wait list and admit everyone. They both love it-- they learn cello & violin, get homework help, play games, play in concerts, act in plays at KIC summer camp, and just generally get to be in this sweet & supportive community. And, the program is totally free so that all kids can access music education. Therefore we are raising money to support this amazing community program which is just blocks down the street from our house, and which we want to be there forever for our kids & all future kids of Suquamish! The true cost of this program per kid is in the thousands per year-- if you are able to chip in to help Rowan & Remy each meet their $500 goal by March 22, the KIC Day of Giving, that would be amazing. xoxoxoxox
