Kids in Concert isn't just about teaching children how to play instruments. They use music to create a community where children are safe to express who they are and connect to others. Kids in Concert creates community through the art of creating music.

Zoey started back at Suquamish Elementary this year and struggled to find her place while missing her La Conner school and friends terribly. The adults, teen mentors and other students at KIC embraced her and helped her find her place back in Suquamish. She is developing a love of the violin, never stops singing and is talking a little louder and standing a little taller when with her peers. She is so proud of what she has learned on her violin and lives for the days she gets to go to KIC after school. 

Please consider helping to support this organization. They are providing instruments, education, time and even snacks to Zoey and the other KIC kids at NO charge to families. By doing so, they are creating an inclusive opportunity for all families to be a part of their community and all kids the chance to learn and show that they are musicians.
