Fort Davis is the county seat of Jeff Davis County - the Texas county with the highest rate of school-age child poverty. With no cafeteria or federal lunch program, 9 out of 10 elementary children rely on JDC Community Foundation for lunch.

We're looking for 200 people to sponsor a child's lunch each month:

$25/month sponsors one child's lunch for a month
$10/month helps cover the cost when donations fall short
Even $5/month keeps food on the stove and lunches going out the door

Since last year, JDC Community Foundation has been showing up with hot, healthy lunches several times a week. We've served over 14,000 meals.

We stretch every dollar as far as it can go. But more families are depending on us and we need steady monthly sponsors to keep this going long-term. Cutting back or shutting down can't be an option, the kids need to be fed.
