Traditionally, men have often left charitable acts to their significant others. While their partners dedicated Saturday mornings to local church or community events, men often stayed on the couch. Moustaches for Kids changes that narrative by creating a program and an environment specifically geared towards the "average man." We partner with local bars and breweries to host events that are inviting and engaging for men. While we are proud of the work we do for children, we believe our greatest contribution is inspiring men to give back.

The beauty of Moustaches for Kids, and why local charities rally around us, is our ability to tap into "new found money." Many of our growers had never given their time or money to charity before joining us. Today, some of our growers raise over $10,000 in just 30 days. Historically, the average grower raises over $1,500!

What Makes Us Different

Moustaches for Kids is a fully volunteer-driven and operated 501(c)(3). Our organization is fueled entirely by our passion for change. The individuals and corporations who support us believe in our vision and mission, knowing that their contributions directly expand our efforts. We take immense pride in being volunteer-operated, and we don't see this changing anytime soon.

How Funding Will Be Utilized

We’ve found that when we make events epic for our growers, we cultivate a more active and dedicated group of men. As a 501(c)(3), our goal is to continue growing and expanding our events. Given our volunteer-driven mindset, we must constantly motivate and incentivize participation in our weekly events. Looking ahead, we envision having over 500 active growers each season, raising over a million dollars in just 30 days.

What Does Growth Look Like?

Beyond expanding our "In Season" efforts and participation, Moustaches for Kids is now working year-round to create change. By hosting events throughout the year, we not only continue to make a difference in the community, but we also improve grower retention by building a like-minded community.
