Celebrate National Library Week by supporting the Duluth Public Library!

The Duluth Library Foundation is raising funds to help build Foundations for the Future, ensuring free library programs, materials, and resources are available to all. Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, every gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000 in April.

NEW UPDATE! In addition to the match, a second donor has challenged 100 people to make gifts during National Library Week. When we meet that challenge, they will make a gift of $5,000! We started the week at 90 donors. Can we get to 190 by midnight on April 25th?

Join us in honoring the library’s vital role in our community with special events throughout the week:

Family Kick-Off Celebration at the Great Lakes Aquarium, with storytimes and crafts – Sunday, April 19 | 10am–12pm (FREE ADMISSION)
Trivia Night! "Are You Smarter Than a Librarian?" Trivia at Bent Paddle, hosted by Trivia Mafia– Tuesday, April 21 | 7–9pm
Book Bingo at Wild State, with bookish prizes and games - Wednesday, April 22 | 7-9pm
Take Action for Libraries at The Depot, where you can demonstrate your support for public libraries - Thursday, April 23rd | 4-8pm
Pages and Pines: Where Books & Nature Come Together at Jay Cooke State Park, with storytimes, story strolls, guided hikes, and more - Saturday, April 25 | 11am-3pm (FREE PARK ADMISSION)
