The Legacy of Munir Muhammad

On the 4th Anniversary of my late father, Munir Muhammad's transition, our family is honored to raise needed funds for the advancement of the educational pursuits of our young people. We are asking for your support of the Munir Muhammad Legacy Scholarship through PLAN4Success.

Munir Muhammad was the Co-Founder and Business Manager of the Coalition for the Remembrance of Elijah Muhammad-the National Archives of the Nation of Islam.  Through Munir’s 33 years of service as the archivist of the Nation of Islam, he gained a reputation for his relentless defense of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.  Never one to rest on his laurels, Munir strategically positioned the organization to grow beyond the walls of its facility by launching CROE Television Productions.  For over a span of 25 years, Munir hosted nearly 8,000 television programs, disseminating timely information to millions of viewers locally, nationally, and internationally.  Best known for his efforts at CROE, Munir also notably served on numerous boards and commissions such as the Illinois Human Rights Commission, Cook County Board of Corrections, Sheriff’s Committee on Religious Tolerance, Chicago Police Department’s Forum to Strengthen Relations between Police and Diverse Communities and the Superintendent of Police, Multicultural Forum.

Munir was a servant leader who worked tirelessly to educate and empower black people to seek knowledge to benefit themselves and their community.  Through his work and commitment to young black men in particular, he served as a mentor, friend, and father figure to many, helping those who could not help themselves, to transform their lives for the better. Munir's legacy lives on! Please consider donating today.
