Since 2016, Dave and I have had the privilege of working with Pug Rescue of Florida & Georgia. Beginning with our first foster pug Bentley (whom we later adopted in 2017), we’ve had over 200 dogs that came through our home, some for a few days and months, and others never left. The dogs we met through Pug Rescue were almost always ill, neglected, abused, strays, etc. We saw first hand the incredible work Pug Rescue and their volunteers do to get these dogs healthy enough to go to their forever homes; and those dogs that need long term care stay at their loving foster homes until they cross over the rainbow bridge. Pug Rescue spares no expense in getting medical treatment for the dogs to include spending thousands of dollars for specialist vets as needed.
