Who are we?
Fish in Peace is a nonprofit organization in memory of Ryan Joseph Jastrzembski, “Ry Guy.” Our goal is to raise funds for scholarships, hospitals, sports, and any other cause in need.
Who is Ry Guy?
Ry Guy was born on August 31, 2010, and was the youngest of four. Ryan went to be in Peace on September 2, 2022. Ryan had a love for family, friends, animals, creatures, cars, bikes, you name it, but nothing compared to his love of fishing. Ryan LOVED to fish. He would jump on his bike before and after school to his favorite lakes. He often would take a boat ride out to the canyons for his big catches. Ryan, at such a youthful age, was able to tie knots, drive a boat, teach his elders on things they would not know. Ryan has caught tuna, marlin, striper, and bass. Ryan loved anything that had to do with fishing. He always had a pole in his hands and if not, he could makeshift something to get near fish. Ryan was loved by all. He was always a class favorite, adored by any teacher, administrator, or classmate. Ryan was always willing to help at home, help with chores, help anyone, any animal. If he saw an animal hurt, he would want to heal it. If he saw a baby crying, he would want to help. His heart was pure.
Ry Guy’s Story:
On January 24, 2022, Ryan was in a horrific bonfire accident. Immediately after, was flown in a helicopter to a Philadelphia Hospital, then transported in a jet to Galveston, Texas. Ryan had burned over 95 percent of his body. He was originally healing, unfortunately he got very ill. After 221 days, he left us and is in Peace.
