Makiah's Bookshelf is committed to fostering self esteem and leadership in children. We believe that when children see themselves reflected in the stories they read, they develop the confidence necessary to become future leaders. Our mission is to provide diverse stories and educational tools that build cultural pride across our community.

Flip My Library is a nonprofit initiative, created by Makiah's Bookshelf, aiming to rehab libraries across the country for the betterment of young readers. It provides books, furniture, and welcoming reading spaces for students to embrace literacy. Your support directly enables the distribution of these vital resources to young learners. By contributing today, you ensure that more children have access to literacy and learning materials that validate their identity and encourage their potential.

We invite you to join us in this investment in the next generation. Your contribution ensures that every child has the tools they need to lead with confidence and read more books!
