Every year, as the holidays approach, families in our community face a heartbreaking reality: choosing between paying bills, buying groceries, or putting a gift under the tree. Many of the parents we serve are navigating layoffs, housing instability, single parenthood, or trying to rebuild after life-changing setbacks. The holidays, which should feel magical, too often become a source of stress and sadness.

At Trap for Youth, Inc., we believe no child should wake up on Christmas morning without joy. What started as a small gesture—just a few toys donated between friends and family—quickly became one of our most important traditions. Each year, more families reach out. Each year, the need grows. And each year, we promise ourselves that every child who comes through our doors will leave with something to smile about.

Our Christmas Toy Giveaway is more than a giveaway.
It’s a moment of dignity for parents who are doing their absolute best.
It’s a reminder to children that they are seen, valued, and loved.
It’s community wrapping its arms around families during the hardest season of the year.

We do this because we’ve been the family that needed help.
We’ve been the mother juggling bills.
We’ve been the ones trying to keep holiday magic alive with limited resources.
And we know how far one act of kindness can go.

This year, the need is bigger than ever. We are committed to blessing 100+ children with toys, books, warm clothing, and holiday cheer—but we can’t do it without support. Every dollar you give goes directly to purchasing toys, wrapping supplies, gift bags, and essential items for babies, toddlers, and school-aged children.
