Art Bash celebrates the rich creative culture of our state and the artist communities who make it all possible.

Live Art Bid

Honorary co-chairs Shawn Brewster of The Mahler Fine Art and collector Kaleah Smith are curating an extraordinary Live Art Bid. Featured artists include: Adam Cohen, Caitlin Cary, Diana Malin, Lamar Whidbee, Linda Ruth Dickinson, Peter Marín, Pete Sack, Skillet Gilmore, Steven M. Cozart, and Thomas Sayre. Carolina Roots Exhibition

The featured exhibition of the night is Carolina Roots, guest juried by Laura Ritchie and Mavis Gragg. This biennial exhibition celebrates artists from rural North Carolina counties, bringing perspectives of artists from underrepresented places into focus, and honoring the rich creative culture beyond our urban centers.

Fundraising Goal

With a goal to raise $150,000 at the event, proceeds will help ensure people of all ages, cultures, and abilities have the opportunity to create, learn, and explore meaningful art experiences: from summer art camp scholarships, one-of-a-kind youth and adult classes, unique exhibitions, to our visual artist residencies, mobile art van, and more, your support makes possible the joy, creativity, and connection the arts offer across the mosaic of communities in our area.
