Our mission is to change that by providing the tools, training, and resources needed to thrive in today’s digital world.

The Problem

In Buffalo, thousands of residents lack access to reliable internet, devices, and the skills to navigate the digital world. This gap disproportionately affects low-income families, seniors, and communities of color, creating barriers to education, employment, and essential services.

- Many students fall behind because they cannot complete online assignments.
- Job seekers struggle to find employment due to a lack of digital skills.

Our Solution: Connect Buffalo

Connect Buffalo is designed to tackle the digital divide through three core pillars:

Access to Technology:
Distributing refurbished laptops, tablets, and mobile hotspots to families and partnering with local ISPs to provide affordable internet options.

Digital Literacy Training:
Offering free workshops on basic computer skills, internet safety, and job application tools and creating a library of online resources for self-paced learning.

Community Support:
Establishing neighborhood tech hubs where residents can access devices and receive one-on-one assistance and building partnerships with schools, libraries, and local nonprofits to maximize our impact.

What We Need

To launch Connect Buffalo, we need to raise $50,000. Here’s how your contributions will be used:

$20,000 for purchasing and refurbishing devices.
$10,000 for creating and hosting digital literacy workshops.
$15,000 for establishing tech hubs and covering operational costs.
$5,000 for outreach, marketing, and partnerships.
