Jared Johnson is a co-owner of All Good Books, Advisory Board Member of All Good Books, and a longtime Columbia activist and community leader. He came up with the idea of the "Book Blackout", in which he solicited book donations and populated Little Free Libraries (those tiny houses that have free books in them) around Columbia with new books by and about people from communities that are underrepresented in mass media. Jared also organized the city’s first Black Lives Matter mural and he’s a freelance photographer and journalist. He’s a graduate of the University of South Carolina and is active in the Columbia art scene.
