I'm raising money for the YWA’s 5th Annual Giving Campaign, and this year, we’re setting out to raise $40,000 to support four incredible first-generation students from Del Valle High School. Each scholar will receive a $10,000 scholarship to help make their dream of attending college a reality. Every dollar donated goes directly to funding scholarships, professional development, and community impact initiatives. These aren’t just numbers—they’re real lives, real futures, and real change. I know the power of this kind of support because scholarships helped me through college. They gave me the chance to grow, to learn, and to believe in myself. It’s an honor to now be part of a campaign that’s creating that same opportunity for others. We give where we live.
